The Holy Ghost or Holy Spirit is the third member of the Godhead that represents the only God with whom we have to do. He is a spirit being only, not having a body such as Jesus Christ’s resurrected body. This “handicap” permits him, among other things, to facilitate communications between God and man.

He is often called the Comforter, and the Spirit of Truth.
