An atheist on Twitter wanted to see my proof of the existence of God, so I wrote My Proof That God Exists in response. It consists of three sections:

Glimpses Through The Veil is about some inexplicable experiences shared by my wife and me where we "saw" two of our yet-to-be-conceived children. The inexplicable part is that we both saw the same thing at the same time. What we saw was different for each child.

Life After Death is about five different people I personally know and their out-of-body experiences. The first four are people who died and came back. The fifth life-after-death example is literally that because this was my mother we had buried a week earlier. This is not a spook story so let your mind be at ease. This one is, I think, the best proof of life after death that could possibly exist in our present world with the possible exception of a visitation by an angel.

The Hard Evidence: The Book of Mormon is the last section of My Proof that God Exists, and is a brief treatment of a few of the many things in that book that could not have been known when it was published in 1830. This section is not about doctrine or beliefs, it is about literary types, isolation of various authors, descriptions of things unknown at publication, etc. Sherlock Holmes says that “When you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth.”

I hope you enjoy these vignettes in My Proof That God Exists.
