The Wall of Separation is Failing

Yesterday, the Supreme Court of the United States heard arguments in the case: The American Legion v. American Humanist Association. At issue is the Bladensburg Peace Cross, a 94 year old memorial to 49 WW I soldiers from Prince George's County, Maryland. The humanists filed suite to have it removed from public land or torn down.

The cross will probably remain because there is an inherent weakness in the wall that is supposed to separate church and state. The brief analysis is in Bladensburg and the Wall That Couldn't.
