Poverty in Socialist Venezuela

Planning Is a Path to Power

It's been a while but the harvest is over. We had a bumper crop of apples this year and even though we thinned out three fourths of them last May, we still had hundreds of pounds from our two old trees. Now we have many quarts of cider, pie filling and apple sauce.

I've also been working a lot on the children's book titled Even Rocks Have Rights. I am quite happy with it and getting started on the illustration of it.

Meanwhile the poverty crises in Venezuela has been on my mind a lot. I am finding that looking at issues through the lens of rights is an insightful exercise. I discovered that socialism establishes the law of the jungle at the top of its governmental structure. If that sounds interesting, read about it here.
