We have tried four times to buy or build an off-grid home and finally succeeded last year. At 8,300 feet elevation and surrounded by 10 acres of pines and Service Berry bushes, we are in heaven. We are in Kane County, Utah, a few miles south (as the crow flies) from Duck Creek Village.

Last summer, as we returned home (it was about 7:30 PM) we counted over 100 deer along the road to our new home. We have a pet squirrel with several new children this year and a family of cottontail rabbits living under our storage container.

Just now we have left there for the winter as the place is not yet ready for prolonged snowed-in residency. We are visiting children near Salt Lake City while I am working on Temporal Rights, an unprecedented basis for natural rights that shows how the Creator endowed us with our rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

It's our 250th anniversary, and a good time, an exciting time to be alive. I think the assassination of Charlie Kirk was the Pearl Harbor of those who denigrate our Republic.
