Working alone in my father's new orchard 25 miles from home, I learned why farmers know how to swear. But I also learned the value of facing life head-on.

Sometimes we find ourselves talking in our heads, to someone about why we couldn't fulfill their expectations. Or maybe we are overtaken with an unwelcome but powerful emotion.

This little post is about those days and learning to be in charge instead of the victim.
